It's For The Birds

Join Master Photographer and CPP, Roy Nierdieck, for a day of fun and great photo opportunities at the Houston Audubon Society, Smith Oaks Rookery on Bolivar Peninsula. There will be thousands of waterfowl available to photograph in their nesting habitat, including Great White Egret, Snowy Egret, Cormorant, and possibly Tricolor and Green Herons. The workshop will be based out of Winnie, Texas (10 miles away) where food and lodging can be obtained. More details to come or contact Roy for more information.

Details for a possible early morning (unofficial) session may come available and details will follow as to hotel suggestions for the workshop. Stay tuned.

Meeting Cancellation Policy

If our monthly membership meeting is cancelled due to inclement weather, location availability, natural disasters or other practical reasons, Austin PPA will attempt to reschedule the meeting for the following week or as soon as possible. If the meeting cannot be rescheduled for a particular month, fees submitted by all registered attendees will be applied to the following month’s membership meeting. One or more email messages will be sent to all registered attendees and the general membership regarding the cancellation and available rescheduling information.
