    Heather Leider is a portrait artist based between Lockhart and Luling, Texas, dedicated to creating timeless works of art that families will cherish for generations. While her professional photography career began in 2007, her passion for capturing beauty and emotion began long before.

    A graduate with honors from the Art Institute of Colorado (A.A.S. in Photography, 2008) and a Certified Professional Photographer through the Professional Photographers of America (PPA), Heather blends technical mastery with a deep artistic vision. Her work is not simply about taking photographs—it’s about crafting heirlooms that tell a family’s story and stand the test of time.

    Heather is an active member of PPA, the Austin Professional Photographers Association (APPA), and the Texas Professional Photographers Association (TPPA). Through these affiliations, she pursues ongoing education and inspiration year-round, continually refining her craft to ensure each portrait is as enduring and meaningful as the memories it preserves.

    Valerie Steinkoenig is an award-winning newborn and maternity photographer with over a decade of experience capturing the tiniest details of a baby's first days. As the owner of Valerie Kay Photography, she has photographed nearly 1,000 newborns and built a reputation for creating timeless, heirloom-quality portraits. Valerie holds PPA's Master of Photography and Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) credentials and studied professional photography at Austin Community College.

    Beyond her work in the studio, Valerie enjoys helping other photographers navigate the unique challenges of newborn photography. She understands how overwhelming it can be for non-newborn photographers to approach these sessions and is passionate about sharing simple, effective techniques to make the process easier.
